We are hiring a Principal Product Manager to own the foundational engine of KAST's financial services. This is a critical leadership role that sits at the intersection of our Core Banking infrastructure and our flagship Cards program. You will be responsible for the systems that hold, move, and account for customer funds, while also owning the card product that allows users to experience stablecoins in the real world.

Your mission is to build a secure, scalable, and globally compliant financial core that powers everything we do—from our customer ledger and crypto custody integrations to the end-to-end card issuing lifecycle. You will ensure the heart of our product is rock-solid, enabling us to achieve our ambition of becoming the #1 stablecoin bank globally.

Core Banking:

• Own the customer ledger, points ledger, and financial accounts that serve as the single source of truth.
• Manage and scale integrations with our crypto custody providers and treasury systems.
• Oversee the user account lifecycle, including MFA, account statuses, and customer data management.
• Deliver financial accounting, business reporting, and reconciliation systems that are robust and scalable.

Cards:

• Own the end-to-end card issuing lifecycle, from vendor management and scheme integrations to optimizing transaction flows (authorizations, clearing, settlement, chargebacks).
• Define the commercial card proposition, including tiers, rewards, fees, and value-added services.

Explore and implement credit offerings, starting with collateralized models.

• • 10-12+ years in product management with a proven track record of shipping and scaling products with commercial impact.
  • Deep domain expertise in both Cards and Core Banking, including:
    
    • 5+ years specifically in cards, payments, or card issuing, with deep knowledge of transaction lifecycles, chargebacks, fraud management, and scheme compliance.
    • Extensive experience with core financial systems, demonstrated by building or managing ledgers, account systems, or custody integrations in high-growth fintech or crypto environments.
  • A proven track record of delivering
    security-first platforms, with expertise in identity management, payments, and custodial solutions.
  • Technical proficiency, with a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, and the ability to work closely with engineers to design and build highly scalable systems.
