The Role

We’re hiring a Principal Product Manager - Risk & Identity to own and scale our platform. You’ll partner closely with Engineering, Compliance, and Ops to build regulatory-grade systems that balance speed, user experience, and trust.

Your mission: redefine how compliance works for stablecoin banking - from vendor orchestration and monitoring rules to AI-driven verification and investigation flows.

What You’ll Be Doing

Stage 1 (KYC): Insource and optimize the core KYC logic currently handled by SumSub, integrating directly into KAST’s KYC platform.
Stage 2 (Vendor orchestration): Integrate and orchestrate multiple KYC/AML vendors globally to hyperlocalize onboarding and monitoring.
Stage 3 (Innovation): Design and deliver alternative compliance methods - leveraging AI agents, dynamic workflows, and new data sources - to improve onboarding speed, AML detection, and case investigation.
Define and iterate on AML rules and workflows: transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and risk scoring.

Act as the product owner for KAST’s compliance platform - defining roadmap, success metrics, and execution priorities across KYC and AML.

What You'll Bring

10-12+ years in product management, with at least 5+ years in compliance, KYC/AML, identity, or risk.
Proven track record building regulatory-grade compliance platforms that scale globally.
Hands-on experience with compliance vendors (KYC: SumSub, Onfido, Jumio | AML: Elliptic, Chainalysis, ComplyAdvantage, etc.).
Strong knowledge of global regulatory standards (KYC, AML, FATF, GDPR, APAC/EU/US frameworks).
Experience building API-first, event-driven platforms with close engineering partnership.
Entrepreneurial mindset: ruthless prioritization, bias to ship, and ability to innovate within regulation.
