# 0% FX for Eligible KAST Users on Qualifying Local Card Spend

Some fees only become obvious when they keep showing up on everyday purchases.

Your corner-store treats, your gas top-up, paying for dinner, buying a flight… it adds up, doesn’t it?

From **June 1 to August 31, 2026**, eligible KAST users can access **0% FX on qualifying local card spend** through a promotional **credit-back**.

If an FX fee is charged on an eligible transaction, we will **credit that FX amount back** after the month ends, subject to verification.

This promotion applies **only to card spend**. It does not cover transfers, deposits, or other account activity.

## How 0% FX Works

This offer works as a **credit-back**, not as an instant fee removal at checkout.

If your purchase qualifies, the standard **1.75% FX fee** may still appear at the time of spend. We then calculate the FX fee charged on that transaction and apply the **same amount back** as a promotional credit after the month ends.

Each transaction is assessed on its own.

## What Qualifies as “Local Spend”

- Only **card transactions processed in the applicable local currency** qualify.
- International online purchases or purchases processed in a non-local currency are excluded.
- Reversed, disputed, or refunded transactions are excluded from the monthly calculation.

## The Limit (Per User, Per Month)

- 0% FX applies to the **first $500 USD equivalent** of qualifying local spend each calendar month.
- Maximum refund per user: **$8.75 USD per month** (1.75% of $500).

## Payout Timeline

Refunds are calculated at midnight on the last day of the month and credited within the first 10 **business days** of the following month.
