On March 24, we hosted the KAST VIP Dinner in New York for a small group of core users and partners. The event ran from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM, starting with welcome drinks at Astro Bar and continuing with a seated dinner in the Astro Room. It was invite only, required approval, and was limited to 20 guests.
The format was simple. There was no stage, no panel, and no presentation. Guests had dinner, drinks, and time to talk. The setting also matched the format: a classic New York grill house atmosphere with oysters, premium drinks, and a seated dinner.
That made the event stand out during DAS week. While many events across New York were larger and faster, this dinner gave guests more time for direct conversations. The guest list included people who already knew KAST, used KAST, or were close to the product, so the discussions stayed relevant throughout the night.

Dinner details
The evening started with drinks at Astro Bar from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. After that, guests moved to the Astro Room for dinner.
The event also included custom menus, coasters, napkins, ice stamps, and branded travel kits. The dress code was smart, polished, and understated.
Why it worked
The smaller guest list changed the pace of the night. People stayed in one place, spoke longer, and moved past quick introductions. That made the dinner useful for conversations about product, payments, partnerships, market shifts, and what guests were building.
In a busy New York week, that format worked well. The dinner brought the right group together and gave them time to talk properly.
