The advantage is commercial. By moving your billing to our resell program you get the same cloud provider infrastructure and console at a better price: we pass through a portion of our partner margin as a direct discount, which is not available through a standard direct relationship.
No. This is a billing-only arrangement. Your technical configuration, console access, and existing support agreements with the cloud provider are unchanged. We do not provide technical support or managed services; we act as the financial intermediary that makes a better price possible.
There is no technical migration, no data transfer, and no downtime. We initiate a billing entity change through the cloud provider's portal. You keep using your existing accounts and tools; the only difference is that invoices route through us so your discount applies.
Your discount is applied directly to the list price of your cloud consumption. You receive one consolidated monthly invoice from us covering total usage across all accounts, with the agreed discount already deducted.
All existing financial commitments, Reserved Instances, and Savings Plans move with you. The billing transfer preserves your current discount structures, so you keep your existing coverage while the program discount layers on top.
No. Because this is strictly a financial facility, KAST has no access to your cloud environment, data, or internal workloads. Our visibility is limited to the consumption and usage metadata needed to generate your invoice. Your security posture and data sovereignty stay entirely under your control.
None. The transition is purely administrative and happens at the cloud provider's billing layer. Your instances, databases, and applications stay online and unaffected. No technical change or configuration reset is required.
