Get your KAST Business account ready in minutes
Two things to prepare: your shareholders, and your business details and documents. Answer three questions and we'll show only what applies to you.
Get KAST BusinessBefore you start
We verify every business to protect your account and meet global financial regulations. We only ask for what's necessary, and your information is handled securely.
- 1
Who should open the account
A director of the business. If a director can't apply, an authorized representative can act on the company's behalf with a signed authorization letter.
- 2
How long it takes
Most accounts go live within 24 hours of submission.
- 3
What happens after
We review your documents, verify each shareholder through the KAST Personal app, and notify you the moment your account is active.
Tailor this checklist
Three questions. We'll hide what doesn't apply to you.
0/18 ready
Prepare your business
Details you type and documents you upload. All of it is yours to gather, whenever you are ready.
Business details
Have this to hand before you start.
Business documents
Three documents, all required. Sign and date them where applicable, and upload PDFs — not photos or editable files.
One document issued in the last six months showing your business name and address. A registered agent or virtual office address is fine.
We accept
- A bank statement addressed to the business
- A government letter or tax notice
- A registered agent's service agreement or confirmation letter
We can't accept
- Screenshots
- Handwritten letters
- Mail envelopes
One official document showing who owns the business and how ownership is split. For a single-shareholder entity, a document confirming sole ownership where the jurisdiction allows.
We accept
- A shareholder registry or cap table
- An operating agreement, bylaws, or articles, if ownership is clearly listed
- A shareholder structure chart
A certificate of incorporation or a business registration certificate.
For your situation
Shown because of how you answered above.
If you operate somewhere other than your registered address — a home office, a coworking space, or another country — give us both addresses. We will send a short questionnaire about the operating address and an address declaration template to sign.
Both addresses appear on your application. The operating address does not replace the registered one.

How to use it
- Add or remove shareholder boxes to match your structure.
- Add or remove shareholding company layers if your ownership chain has more or fewer entities between the shareholders and the subject company.
Include a declaration, signed and dated by the director: no other individuals or entities directly or indirectly hold 25% or more of the shares, voting rights, or ultimate control; the controlling person is named; and valid photo IDs are provided for all business persons.
Prepare your shareholders
Every shareholder verifies themselves in the KAST Personal app, on their own time. Start them first — it is what decides how long verification takes.
Ownership and ID
For every business person — each shareholder at or above the threshold, plus the controlling person.
Who needs to be verified
Every business verification covers two kinds of business person — the collective term for everyone who gets verified.
Shareholders
Every individual at or above the ownership threshold.
Controlling person
One MD, CEO, or equivalent. Always required.
Minimum: one controlling person and one shareholder. They can be the same person.
Ownership thresholds
- 25%
- Most industries
- 10%
- Regulated industries
How verification works
Verification runs through the KAST Personal app.
Shareholders already on KAST are verified instantly
Ask each shareholder to create a KAST Personal account if they don't have one, then add them to your application by KAST Tag, phone number, or email. We only share their verification status with you — no other KAST Personal data is disclosed.
FAQs
Most accounts go live within 24 hours of submission. Complex ownership structures or missing documents can extend this.
You can still apply with a signed authorization letter from a director authorizing you to act on the company's behalf. Answer "no" above and the template appears in your checklist.
All business persons complete individual verification through the KAST Personal app. That means every shareholder at or above the ownership threshold — 25% by default, 10% in regulated industries — and the controlling person.
Yes, as long as your business is officially registered, has a registration number, and can provide an incorporation document.
Submit the original document. If it isn't in English, include a certified translation alongside it.
We review your documents, verify each shareholder through the KAST Personal app, and notify you the moment your account is active. If we need anything else, we'll reach out by email.
Some industries and ownership structures require more context — a business licence, a contract with a key supplier, or proof of source of funds. If we ask for more, it's targeted, and we'll explain why.
Yes. We only collect what we need to verify your business, and your data is handled securely under our privacy and compliance standards.
