What to Do if KAST Rejects Your Source of Funds or Proof of Address Documents
If KAST rejects your source of funds or proof of address documents, review the reason before resubmitting them. This guide explains which documents you can provide and what to check to avoid common mistakes.

If KAST rejects your documents, it means they do not meet the verification requirements. Review the reason provided, then submit a corrected version or a different document that meets the requirements.
1. Why Were My Documents Rejected?
The most common reasons include:
- Unclear or incomplete images: The document is blurry, cropped, has glare, or is missing pages.
- Missing information: Your full name, the date, your address, or the details needed to verify the source of your money are not visible.
- Mismatched details: The name does not match your account, or the address differs from the one registered with KAST.
- Outdated documents: The document’s date does not meet the requirements.
- Unsupported files: Screenshots, photos of a screen, handwritten notes, unofficial documents, or altered files.
- Unclear source of funds: The document does not explain where the money came from or does not match the income you declared.
2. What Documents Can I Submit?
To prove the source of your funds, you can use payslips, account statements showing income, tax returns, investment or savings records, asset sale contracts, loan agreements, or inheritance documents.
Choose the document that best explains how you obtained your money. For crypto-related funds, provide records that trace their origin and show how they reached you. Statements from digital platforms may require additional banking documentation.
To prove your address, you can use a bank statement, a utility bill, an official government document, or a complete and signed rental agreement.
If your household bills are not in your name, use an account statement showing your address, a certificate of residence, or a rental agreement that includes your name.
3. What Should I Check Before Resubmitting?
- Your full legal name must be visible and match your account details.
- Your proof of address must show the address registered with KAST and have been issued within the last 3 months.
- Source of funds documents should be recent—generally from the last 3 months—or the latest available version. Payslips must be less than 6 months old.
- All pages, edges, and important information must be clearly visible.
- Do not crop, edit, or alter the files. Do not submit screenshots or photos of a screen.
- Check the file size and format requirements shown when uploading your document.
4. How Do I Resubmit My Documents?
Open the verification section in the KAST app and follow the instructions to upload your corrected documents.
If KAST has asked you to send them by email, reply to that message with the files attached. Only use email when instructed to do so.
KAST will review your documents and notify you through the app or by email. If information is still missing, you will receive instructions on how to correct it. Resubmitting documents does not negatively affect your account, but verification will remain pending until they are approved.
Documents in other languages are accepted, although an official translation may be requested. If you continue to have trouble, contact KAST Concierge for guidance on what to submit.
