Introducing Convert in Your KAST Asset Account
Convert in your KAST Asset Account connects your spending balance and supported digital assets. You authorise on-chain conversions from your self-custodial wallet. A KAST fee applies to conversion. Digital-asset prices are volatile, and you may lose some or all of your assets’ value.

Convert in your KAST Asset Account lets eligible KAST users buy, sell, and convert supported digital assets on Solana, all from the KAST app.
Use your Spend Account balance to buy supported assets, sell supported assets back into your Spend Account balance after settlement, or convert one supported asset into another within your Asset Account.
This feature is separate from Convert in the main KAST app, which allows users to on-ramp digital assets to credit their USD Spend Account balance. The two features have different terms, fees, and execution models.
Three Ways to Use Convert in Your Asset Account
- Spend Account —> Asset Account: Convert value from your Spend Account balance into a supported asset held in your Asset Account.
- Asset Account —> Spend Account: Convert a supported asset into a credit to your Spend Account balance, available once the conversion has settled and the balance has been credited.
- Asset Account (Swap): Convert one supported asset into another within your Asset Account.
All three conversion types use the same From and To experience. Choose what you want to convert and what you want to receive, enter an amount, then review the quote before confirming.
Explore Supported Assets
Convert in your Asset Account supports SOL, selected Solana tokens, and xStocks where enabled. Check the app for the assets available to your account. Availability depends on your country, account eligibility, liquidity, pricing, and an available conversion route. Cross-chain conversions are not supported.
xStocks are tokens that track the price of an underlying security. They are not shares and do not give voting or other shareholder rights. Token prices can differ materially from the underlying security, and issuer and liquidity risks apply. Do not assume direct ownership of, or a right to redeem for, the underlying security. Applicable issuer terms govern token rights.
How On-Chain Conversions Work
KAST provides the interface for you to authorise conversions from your self-custodial Asset Account wallet. The on-chain asset-to-asset conversion uses independent third-party liquidity sources connected via LI.FI.
LI.FI is independent of KAST. It connects to liquidity sources; it does not issue xStocks. Neither KAST nor LI.FI provides ownership of the underlying shares through this feature, and KAST does not issue, sponsor, or hold the underlying security.
Review the Quote Before You Confirm
Review the assets, quoted amounts, net conversion rate, KAST fee, and any applicable network or third-party costs before authorising a conversion. The app displays a single net rate reflecting the applicable KAST fee, provider fees, route spread and quoted slippage. Follow the fee disclosures for the actual flow. A quoted rate does not guarantee the final price, as prices and quotes can change before a conversion completes.
Check any slippage or price-impact warnings carefully. Liquidity and market conditions can affect the amount you receive, and an available quote does not guarantee execution. A warning or confirmation step does not eliminate the risk of an adverse conversion rate or loss.
How It Works
To get started, open your Asset Account in a supported version of the KAST app. Asset Account Convert must be live and enabled for your account and country. Access to xStocks is subject to additional restrictions.

Converting from your Spend Account into an asset
Asset Account → Convert → Buy → Choose an asset → Enter amount → Review → Confirm
Open Convert in your Asset Account. Select your Spend Account balance as the source and a supported asset as the destination. Enter an amount, review the quote and warnings, then confirm.
Once the conversion completes, the asset is held in your Asset Account.
Converting an asset into your Spend Account balance
Open Convert in your Asset Account. Select a supported asset as the source and your Spend Account balance as the destination. Enter an amount, review the quote and warnings, then confirm.
The corresponding value is credited to your Spend Account after the conversion settles and the transaction outcome is reconciled.
Converting between assets within Asset Account
Asset Account → Convert → Choose From and To assets → Enter amount → Review → Confirm
Select two different supported assets to convert one into the other within your Asset Account.
For every conversion, review the net rate, estimated output, and any warnings before confirming. You can then track the conversion's status in your transaction history.
Understand the Risks
Self-custody does not remove third-party risk. KAST does not control LI.FI, the underlying liquidity sources, or their smart contracts, and does not guarantee their security, availability, prices, or execution. Smart-contract failures, security incidents, limited liquidity, and operational delays can cause losses or prevent a conversion from completing.
xStocks add token and issuer risks. Their prices can differ materially from the underlying security, including outside market hours or during trading halts. You may be unable to sell when you want. Do not assume ownership of, or a right to redeem for, the underlying security. Applicable issuer terms govern token rights.
Digital assets in your wallet are not bank deposits and are not insured. Completed on-chain conversions cannot be reversed by KAST. You may lose some or all of your assets’ value.
Convert in your Asset Account does not support limit orders, recurring or scheduled conversions, or custom slippage settings. It is not available for KAST Business.
What It Costs
A KAST fee applies to every conversion in your Asset Account. Fees vary by account tier and the assets being converted.
The KAST fee is charged on the input amount. Where different asset-category fees apply to the source and destination assets, the higher category fee applies for your account tier. Provider fees and route economics also affect the amount received; the KAST fee is not the only component of the net conversion rate.

Important Information
Convert in the KAST Asset Account lets eligible users convert supported digital assets on Solana using a self-custodial wallet. It is separate from the Convert feature in the main KAST app, which has its own terms. You authorise each on-chain conversion. KAST provides the interface; the on-chain asset-to-asset conversion uses third-party liquidity sources connected via LI.FI. LI.FI is an independent third party. KAST does not control LI.FI or the underlying liquidity sources or smart contracts, and does not guarantee their security, availability or execution. Prices are volatile, quotes can change, and third-party or smart-contract failures, limited liquidity and delays may cause losses. Confirmed on-chain transactions cannot be reversed by KAST. You may lose some or all of your assets' value. Digital assets held in your wallet are not bank deposits, are not legal tender and are not insured. Nothing here is investment advice. Availability depends on eligibility and jurisdiction. Asset Account Terms apply.
xStocks add-on:
xStocks are tokens that track the price of an underlying security. They are accessed through third-party liquidity sources connected via LI.FI; neither KAST nor LI.FI is the token issuer or the seller of the underlying shares. KAST does not issue, sponsor or hold the underlying security. These tokens are not shares and do not give voting or other shareholder rights. Third-party routing, smart-contract, security, liquidity and token/issuer risks apply. Prices can differ materially from the underlying security, including outside market hours, during trading halts or when liquidity is limited. You may be unable to convert or transfer the tokens when you want and may lose some or all of the token's value. Do not assume direct ownership of, or a right to redeem for, the underlying security; applicable issuer terms govern any token rights. Not available in restricted regions.
