What are KAST Memberships?
KAST memberships are tiered plans that determine the rewards, benefits, and card features you get when using KAST.
Does my membership apply to all my cards or just one?
Your membership applies to your account, not just a single card. This means your benefits extend across all eligible cards you hold.
Do I need a membership to use my KAST card at all?
No, your cards can still work even if you’re on the Standard tier or if a paid membership ends. What changes is your benefits (like cashback/points rates and tier perks), which follow your current membership status.
Do I earn both cashback and points, or is it one or the other?
On paid tiers, you earn both USD cashback and KAST points on eligible spend. Standard does not earn KAST points, and cashback is limited to the Standard tier rules.
Is Standard really free?
Yes, Standard membership has a $0 annual fee. However, you may still see card-related fees depending on what you order.
Do Premium or Private members pay for physical cards?
No, physical cards are included for Premium and Private members. Standard members pay $40 to ship physical cards.
Can I pay monthly instead of yearly?
No, KAST memberships are billed annually. There is no monthly billing option as of yet.
What other benefits do Premium and Private tiers include?
In addition to higher rewards, both Premium and Private memberships come with VISA Infinite card benefits, which provide added value beyond cashback.
