KAST at Finans Rotası Akademi İzmir: Recap

We were very happy to join Finans Rotası Akademi in İzmir alongside Bitget and spend time with one of the most active crypto communities in Turkey.

More than 250 people attended. The room brought together founders, builders, crypto native investors, and experienced users. So the conversations were sharp, practical, and focused on real use cases. There was strong interest in crypto payments, everyday adoption, and products people can actually use in daily life.

Arian Davarnia, KAST’s Country Lead in Turkey, represented KAST at the event. He spoke with attendees about crypto payments, adoption, and what people want from products that feel useful, reliable, and easy to use in the real world.

KAST was there too. Here’s why

KAST was there because we care about making payments easier and making stablecoins more useful in everyday life.

That is why the event mattered to us. It brought us face to face with people using crypto, building in crypto, and thinking seriously about what still needs to improve. In İzmir, the conversation moved quickly past basic questions. People wanted to talk about real use.

That made the event especially useful for KAST. We were able to discuss what helps adoption move forward, what still creates friction, and what users expect from payment products they can trust.

What people talked about

The discussions were direct and practical.

People spoke about how the crypto market in Turkey is changing and why payment infrastructure matters more as adoption grows. The focus was not only on getting into crypto. It was also on what comes next and how crypto becomes part of everyday financial life.

Onboarding came up often. So did trust. People want a smoother way to get started, and they want products that feel clear and dependable. There was also strong interest in payment tools that feel simple, useful, and easy to fit into daily habits.

Who was in the room

The room had a strong mix of people.

Founders and builders shared product insight. Investors added market perspective. Users brought direct questions and honest feedback. That made the conversations more grounded and more useful.

For KAST, that kind of setting matters because it brings product thinking closer to real user needs. It helps us hear what people actually want and where better financial tools can make everyday use easier.

The outcome

The event gave KAST a clear read on the local market.

We spoke with people who already understand crypto and now want better ways to use it. We heard strong interest in products that reduce friction, build trust, and make payments easier in real life.

That made İzmir an important stop for KAST in Turkey. It also showed that community events still matter when the goal is real adoption, real feedback, and real connection.

What comes next

We will keep showing up in places where the conversation is moving from crypto interest to crypto use.
