Sharing KAST now pays off. When you refer a friend, you can earn cash rewards as they use their card. If they upgrade to Premium or Private, you can earn more on top.
What is changing
We are introducing cash referral rewards for normal, non-affiliate users across all KAST tiers.
That means if you use KAST and share it with a friend, you can earn milestone-based cash rewards when your referred friend reaches specific card spend thresholds. Those rewards can also stack with membership rewards if your friend buys Premium or Private.
Referral Rewards are available broadly, but payout eligibility and reward amounts depend on the referee’s eligibility.
How to refer a friend
You can invite a friend through your referral link, referral code, or QR code in the KAST app.
Here is the simple flow:
- Open the KAST app
- On the Home screen, tap Earn
- Copy or share your referral link, referral code, or QR code
- Ask your friend to sign up using your link or enter your referral code
- Once they complete identity verification and start spending, your referral progress starts tracking
If your friend signs up using your referral link, the referral is tracked automatically. If they do not use the link, they can still enter your referral code during sign-up or add it later in the app.
How it works for you
Once your friend starts spending on their card, you can earn up to $250 in cash rewards per referred user.

Membership rewards can stack
If your referred friend buys a membership, you can earn extra cash on top of the spend rewards.
That means referral rewards are not limited to card spend alone. If your friend buys Premium, you earn an extra $100. If your friend buys Private, you earn an extra $1,000. These rewards stack on top of the spend-based rewards.

How rewards are paid
All referral payouts are credited to your Cash Rewards balance.
A 14-day time lock applies before those rewards become redeemable. Payouts are triggered once the spend milestone is met, but they stay locked until the time lock ends.
What you can see in the app
The referral page shows your referral activity in one place.
You can view:
- how many users signed up with your referral code
- how many referred users crossed the first $100 spend milestone
In this setup, sign-ups means users who joined with your referral link or code and completed identity verification. Referrals means sign-ups who also reached the first $100 spend milestone.

Important details to know
- Aggregate spend counts — your friend does not need to hit a milestone in one transaction. Total card spend across purchases is what matters.
- Rewards are incremental — each spend tier unlocks its reward independently. Reaching a higher threshold over time still pays out each level.
- No referral cap — there is no limit on how many friends you can refer under the normal program.
What happens if a transaction is refunded
Referral rewards can be adjusted if the underlying spend changes.
