ready in minutes

A 5-minute checklist of the details and documents we need to verify your business. Have everything ready and you'll be live within 24 hours.

We only ask for what's necessary, and your information is handled securely.

How long it takes.

Most accounts go live within 24 hours of submission.

What happens after.

We review your documents, verify each owner through the KAST Personal app, and notify you the moment your account is active.

Running your business from a different address?

If your day-to-day operations are at a different location, provide the following depending on your setup.

  • Office or commercial space — utility bill, bank statement, or lease in the name of the business
  • Home or remote — bank statement, utility bill, or lease in the owner's name, plus a letter signed by the director
Declaration to include in the letter

While the company is registered in [Jurisdiction], I currently reside and work remotely from [Country/Address].

The company operates remotely, and my location does not impact the ownership, management, or operations of the business. The registered company address remains the official business address for legal and corporate purposes.

Signed by the director, with name, signature, and date.

Ownership / shareholder evidence

One official document that shows who owns the business and the ownership split. For a single-owner entity, provide a document that confirms sole ownership where the jurisdiction allows.

Accepted examples
  • Shareholder registry or cap table
  • Operating agreement, bylaws, or articles (if ownership is clearly listed)
  • Shareholder structure chart
  • Articles of Organization or state filing extract (US)
  • Contrato Social or Estatuto Social (Brazil)
  • Trade License or Memorandum of Association (UAE)

For complex business structures

Shareholder structure chart

Include a one-page chart showing all intermediate shareholding companies and ultimate beneficial owners, with each owner's shareholding percentage and ID details. Use this structure as a reference:

How to use the chart
  • Add or remove beneficial owner boxes as needed for your structure.
  • Add or remove shareholding company layers if your ownership chain has more or fewer entities between the owners and the subject company.
Declaration to include on the chart

No other individuals or entities directly or indirectly hold 25% or more shares, voting rights, or ultimate control over the company's management. The Controlling Person (MD/CEO) is named, and valid photo IDs are provided for all Business persons.

Signed by the director, with name, signature, and date.

Incorporation / registration document

Accepted: certificate of incorporation or business registration certificate

Additional documents (if applicable)

Some industries and ownership structures require more context.
If we ask, it's targeted, and we'll explain why.
Examples:

  • Business licenses or permits
  • Contracts with key suppliers or customers
  • Proof of source of funds

FAQs

How long does verification take?

Most accounts go live within 24 hours of submission. Complex ownership structures or missing documents can extend this.

What if I'm not the director of the business?

You can still apply if you have a signed authorization letter from the CEO authorizing you to act on the company's behalf. Use the template above.

Who needs to verify?

All Business persons complete individual verification through the KAST Personal app. This includes every UBO at or above the ownership threshold (25% by default, 10% in regulated industries) and the Controlling Person (MD or CEO).

Can I open an account for a brand-new company?

Yes, as long as your business is officially registered, has a registration number, and can provide an incorporation document.

What if my documents are in another language?

Submit the original document. If it isn't in English, include a certified translation alongside it.

What happens after I submit my application?

We review your documents, verify each UBO through the KAST Personal app, and notify you the moment your account is active. If we need anything else, we'll reach out by email.

Why might I be asked for an extra document?

Some industries and ownership structures require more context. If we ask for more, it's targeted, and we'll explain why.

Is my information safe?

Yes. We only collect what we need to verify your business, and your data is handled securely under our privacy and compliance standards.
