FAQ
Native staking means delegating your SOL to a validator who helps secure the network and earns rewards for you in return. You keep ownership throughout — delegation is not a transfer. Rewards are proportional to the amount you stake and the validator's performance, and are distributed automatically. You can undelegate at any time, though the network enforces an unbonding period of about 2 days before you regain full access.
- Stake SOL with the KAST Validator in your Solana wallet (ie: Phantom, Solflare)
- Own a Solana Card (Solana, Solana Metal, or Solana Solid Gold)
- Superteam cards are not eligible.
- Connect your Solana wallet in the KAST app
- Claim your KAST rewards, allowing 1 epoch to pass (approx. 2 days)
- Multiple wallets can claim points into the same KAST account
- After the first claim, if you continue to meet the eligibility criteria, KAST points are credited to your KAST account automatically every epoch (approx. every 2 days).
SOL and KAST rewards are issued once per epoch into your staking account. An epoch on Solana is roughly 2 days. There may be a delay of 2 days or more before delegated SOL starts earning, because of the network's validation process.
