FAQs
What is an SBT?
An SBT (Soulbound Token) is a digital badge that’s minted to your wallet. Unlike regular NFTs, SBTs are non-transferable. Once minted, they can’t be sold, traded, or moved to another wallet.
Why do I need a wallet?
You need a wallet because your Pengu SBT is minted onchain and sent directly to a wallet address. Since SBTs can’t be transferred later, the wallet you submit is where your SBT will permanently live.
What if I don’t have a wallet?
You’ll need to create an external crypto wallet before you can receive your SBT. You can use any compatible wallet, for example MetaMask or Phantom. Once it’s set up, copy your wallet address and submit it during the claim flow.
When will I receive my SBT?
You’ll receive your SBT after you complete the claim flow and your wallet is confirmed as eligible. It may take a few minutes to appear in your wallet. If you don’t see it right away, check your wallet activity and refresh your collectibles.
