Dubai New Year Cocktail Recap

On January 29, 2026, we hosted an after work cocktail meetup in Dubai at Salvaje’s private area in the Opera Address Hotel.

The goal was straightforward. Bring people from the crypto and finance community into one room, keep the setting relaxed, and give everyone space to connect while getting a quick look at what KAST is building.

Who you met that night

The room brought together a wide mix from Dubai’s ecosystem. Traders, founders, investors, bankers, and entrepreneurs all joined the evening, along with people working across crypto companies and financial institutions.

Several familiar influencers were also there, including RookieXBT, Cousin Crypto, Dusty, Euni, Loldefi, Gerla, and CryptoLatina.

Guests also came from teams such as Komainu, Laser Digital, Binance, P2P, BitGo, Wincent, and Fuze, alongside family offices, investors, and business owners active in the region.

What the evening looked like

The meetup ran from 8pm to 11pm. People arrived after work, grabbed a drink, and conversations quickly started moving across the room.

Early in the evening, we shared a short introduction to KAST. The focus stayed on features people in the UAE often ask about, including AED payouts and instant transfers through KAST Tag. We also gave a quick look at KAST Earn before returning the attention to networking.

For anyone curious to try the app on the spot, we set up a simple onboarding station with QR codes and team members ready to help.

The lucky draw

We added a lucky draw to keep things interactive.

To enter, guests created a KAST Tag. It took a minute, and then they were in.

Two winners were selected during the event. First prize was $300 and second prize was $150, both paid directly to the winners’ KAST Tags.

What guests said after

Follow ups started coming in the next day, with several guests sharing their appreciation for the evening and the chance to meet people from different parts of the crypto and finance community.

Many pointed out the mix of people in the room and the relaxed atmosphere, where conversations flowed easily and introductions happened naturally.

More than one piece of feedback ended the same way:

“Let me know when the next one is.”
