KAST Referral Leaderboard Update: What’s Changed

We’ve updated the KAST Referral Leaderboard.

And now, rankings are based on real usage; not artificial signups or short-term point spikes.

This means you’re rewarded for inviting people who actually use KAST. Not bots.

Here's a full breakdown of what's changed and why it matters.

What's Changed

Before, rankings leaned heavily on points. That worked, but it didn’t always tell the full story of who was driving real engagement.

Now, the leaderboard focuses on actual card usage.

Put simply:

• It’s no longer about how many people you bring in.
• It’s about how many of them actually use KAST.

Cleaner signal. Fairer rankings.

What Counts Toward Your Ranking

For a referral to count, they need to:

1. Sign up using your referral link
2. Spend at least $100 with KAST

That’s it. No extra hoops.

If a referral doesn’t hit that spend milestone, they won’t count toward the leaderboard; because they’re not active yet.

Important note:

This isn’t a new rule for rewards. It’s the same $100 milestone that already unlocks:

• Cash commissions ($8–$10 per user)
• 2× first-spend bonuses
• Holiday and milestone rewards

The leaderboard is just catching up to how the program already works.

How the Leaderboard Works Now

A referral counts on the leaderboard the moment they reach $100 in total card spend. It doesn’t matter whether that spend happens on day one or two weeks later — the day they cross $100 is the day they activate.

From there:

• The daily leaderboard updates in real time and reflects all referrals who activate by hitting $100 that day.
• Weekly, monthly, and all-time views simply roll up those same activations over longer periods.

In short, sign-ups are the start. Spending is what counts.

What Hasn't Changed

Good news; most things stayed exactly the same.

• The All tab still uses points-based rankings
• You still earn:
  • 30% of points from Level 1 referrals
  • 6% from Level 2 referrals
• Premium bonuses and network rewards are untouched

And yes, the daily Referral Leaderboard prizes are still on:

• 🥇 1st place: 1,000 USDC
• 🥈 2nd place: 200 USDC
• 🥉 3rd place: 100 USDC

The only update is how the Referral Leaderboard is calculated; not how you earn points, commissions, or rewards.
