Use Your KAST Card With 0% FX on Local Spend

Some fees only become obvious after they keep showing up on everyday purchases. That is the idea behind this offer. From April 1 to June 30, 2026, eligible KAST users can get 0% FX on qualifying local card spend through a promotional credit. If an FX fee is charged on an eligible transaction, we will credit that amount back after the cycle ends. Before you spend, check the full Terms and Conditions for all details, limits, and exclusions.

This promotion applies only to card spend. It does not cover transfers, deposits, or other account activity. It applies when you use your KAST card for a qualifying purchase that includes an eligible foreign exchange conversion during the promotion period.

How 0% FX works

This offer works as a credit back, not as an instant fee removal at checkout.

If your purchase qualifies, the FX fee may still appear at the time of spend. We then calculate the FX fee charged on that transaction and apply the same amount back as a promotional credit after the cycle ends, subject to verification.

Each transaction is assessed on its own. It is not a blanket adjustment across all spend.

Who can use this offer

This promotion is available only to KAST users who have completed KYC using an eligible identity document. To qualify, the transaction must be a successfully completed card spend transaction and must include an eligible foreign exchange conversion during the promotion period.

The promotion does not apply to other types of account activity. Deposits, inbound transfers, outbound transfers, internal transfers, reversals, cancelled transactions, refunds, chargebacks, declined transactions, and failed transactions are not included. Only qualifying card spend counts.

Promotion period and cycles

The promotion runs from April 1, 2026 at 00:00 local time to June 30, 2026.

Credits are handled in 30 day cycles:

Cycle Dates
Cycle 1 April 1 to April 30, 2026
Cycle 2 May 1 to May 30, 2026
Cycle 3 June 1 to June 30, 2026

Promotional credits are applied after each cycle ends, not at the moment of purchase.

Cycle caps

Each cycle has two overall caps across eligible users:

Cap type Amount per cycle
Total qualifying spend Up to $250,000
Total promotional credits Up to $5,000

These caps apply across eligible users, not per user.

Credits are granted on a first come, first served basis according to transaction completion timestamp. If either cap is reached, the promotion for that cycle may pause or end early.

Important conditions

A few points matter here:

  • Credits are calculated per eligible transaction based on the FX fee charged for that transaction
  • Transactions cannot be combined, split, or recharacterized to increase the promotional credit
  • If a transaction is later reversed, refunded, cancelled, or charged back, the related credit may be reversed, withheld, or adjusted
  • Credits may also be delayed, withheld, reversed, or adjusted in cases of suspected fraud, abuse, error, or non compliance

Promotional credits are non transferable, non exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash unless explicitly permitted.

Before you use the offer

If you use your KAST card for qualifying local spend that includes FX, this promotion can return that FX amount as a promotional credit.

The key thing is to check the full Terms and Conditions before you spend, so you know exactly how eligibility, cycle timing, caps, and crediting work.
