KYC-Approved Card & Wallet Activation Campaign

1. Overview

‍

KAST is running a limited lifecycle test for eligible users who have completed KYC approval but have not yet deposited funds into their KAST account.

The Campaign is intended to run as a 1-month experiment, unless amended, suspended, or extended by KAST subject to applicable law.

The Campaign is designed to test whether a card / wallet-routed activation journey can help eligible users complete the next required step: deposit funds, activate or use a KAST Card, add the KAST Card to Apple Pay and Google Pay where available, and complete first qualifying KAST Card spend.

Eligible participants assigned to the delayed incentive group may receive a reward after completing the applicable cohort-specific setup path and qualifying KAST Card spend requirement during the offer window.

2. Reward details

Eligible participants in the delayed incentive group may receive a cash-back style campaign reward after completing the required setup steps and qualifying KAST Card spend.

• Reward type: Cash-back style campaign reward
• High-spend markets / countries 1–10: Spend at least $100 with the KAST Card and get $20 back
• Low-spend markets / countries 11–20: Spend at least $50 with the KAST Card and get $10 back
• Reward group: Delayed incentive group only
• Reward trigger: Completion of the applicable cohort-specific setup path plus qualifying KAST Card spend within 14 days of the offer.
• Estimated reward budget: Approximately $8,685.82, based on July WhatsApp benchmark winner rates and current cohort sizing
• Total campaign budget cap: $8,685.82 for rewards, unless separately approved and amended by KAST

3. Eligibility

‍

• Eligible jurisdictions: Top 20 target countries by average card spend, subject to confirmation by Legal and product availability.
• KYC requirement: User must have completed identity verification and all onboarding requirements before the end of the Campaign Period.
• User segment: KYC-approved users who have not deposited and are in one of the following cohorts:
  • Cohort 1: No card — users who have not created or activated a KAST Card.
  • Cohort 2: Card, no wallet — users who have a KAST Card but have not added it to Apple Pay or Google Pay.
• Minimum activity: Complete the required setup path for the user’s cohort, including adding the KAST Card to Apple Pay and Google Pay where available, and complete the applicable qualifying KAST Card spend threshold within 14 days of receiving the Day 14 offer.
• Exclusions: Users who have already deposited, users with card + Apple Pay / Google Pay already provisioned, users in unsupported jurisdictions or unsupported wallet / device configurations, users with blocked, restricted, frozen, or compliance-sensitive account status, and users enrolled in a conflicting activation, wallet, or card-spend campaign are not eligible.

4. How to participate

‍

1. Sign up or log in to the KAST app and complete identity verification and onboarding requirements.
2. If you are in Cohort 1: No card, add funds, activate or apply for a KAST Card, add it to Apple Pay and Google Pay where available, and complete the applicable qualifying KAST Card spend.
3. If you are in Cohort 2: Card, no wallet, add funds, add your KAST Card to Apple Pay and Google Pay where available, and complete the applicable qualifying KAST Card spend.
4. If you are assigned to the delayed incentive group, complete the applicable spend requirement within 14 days of receiving the Day 14 offer.

Participation is automatic for eligible users selected into the Campaign test groups. Assignment to the message-only, delayed incentive, or holdout group is determined by KAST. Users in the message-only group and holdout group are not eligible for the reward.

If opt-in is later required for eligibility, it must appear here and in the campaign key dates before launch.

5. Campaign-specific rules

• This Campaign is available only to eligible users in supported jurisdictions, subject to confirmation by Legal and applicable product availability.
• KAST may limit participation to the selected test cohort and may split eligible users into message-only, delayed incentive, and holdout groups.
• Only users assigned to the delayed incentive group are eligible for a Campaign reward.
• Users in countries ranked 1–10 by the Campaign’s target-country ranking must complete at least $100 in qualifying KAST Card spend within 14 days of receiving the Day 14 offer to qualify for a $20 reward.
• Users in countries ranked 11–20 by the Campaign’s target-country ranking must complete at least $50 in qualifying KAST Card spend within 14 days of receiving the Day 14 offer to qualify for a $10 reward.
• Cohort 1 participants must complete the required no-card activation path before the qualifying spend can unlock a reward.
• Cohort 2 participants must complete the required wallet-provisioning path before the qualifying spend can unlock a reward.
• Transactions must be genuine purchases using the KAST Card. Transactions that are refunded, reversed, disputed, charged back, declined, cancelled, fraudulent, self-dealing, abusive, or otherwise invalid do not count as qualifying activity.
• Qualifying transactions must together reach the applicable minimum spend threshold. The minimum spend requirement is intended to prevent low-value or artificial transaction splitting.
• Each eligible participant may receive a maximum of one reward under this Campaign.
• Rewards are limited and not guaranteed.
• KAST may exit users from the communications journey after successful deposit and KAST Card spend.
• KAST may withhold, reverse, or claw back rewards if it reasonably determines that a participant has breached these rules or engaged in fraud, misrepresentation, abuse, or manipulation of the Campaign.
• KAST Card availability, Apple Pay / Google Pay availability, features, limits, and transaction eligibility vary by jurisdiction, device, card configuration, and applicable cardholder terms. Where both Apple Pay and Google Pay are available for the user’s device and jurisdiction, the user must add the KAST Card to both wallets before qualifying spend can unlock a reward.
• By participating in this Campaign (including by registering for the Campaign, completing any qualifying action described on this page, claiming or redeeming any Campaign reward, or otherwise taking any step that this page identifies as a means of participation), you agree to these campaign-specific rules and the terms set out in the “Important Information” section below.

Important Information

• Participation in this campaign (the “Campaign”) is strictly optional.
• The Campaign is governed by the campaign-specific rules on this page, the KAST Reward Terms, and the KAST Platform Terms, KAST Privacy Policy, each of which is incorporated by reference. If there is any inconsistency, the campaign-specific rules on this page prevail, followed by the KAST Reward Terms and then the KAST Platform Terms, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
• To be eligible, you must hold a KAST account that has completed identity verification and all onboarding requirements before the end of the Campaign Period and maintain your account in good standing through the date rewards are distributed.
• The Campaign is not available in all jurisdictions and is void where prohibited.
• Rewards are limited and not guaranteed. KAST reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the Campaign or its mechanics at any time at its sole discretion, subject to applicable law.
• Rewards will be credited by the distribution date stated on this page. Where a reward must be actively claimed, rewards not claimed by the stated deadline are forfeited without compensation. Where the campaign-specific rules impose a holding period, minimum balance, or continued subscription requirement, failure to maintain it may result in reversal or clawback of the reward as described in those rules.
• Transactions that are refunded, reversed, disputed or charged back do not count as qualifying activity, and KAST may deduct such amounts from your qualifying volume, including after a reward has been distributed.
• KAST will disqualify any participant, and may withhold, reverse, or claw back any reward, where it reasonably determines that the participant has engaged in fraud, misrepresentation, or abuse of the Campaign – including the use of multiple, shared, or coordinated accounts; self-dealing, wash, or offsetting transactional; refund or chargeback cycling; exploitation of an error in Campaign mechanics; or any other manipulation of the Campaign.
• KAST cards are issued pursuant to license from the applicable card network. The Campaign is offered by KAST alone and is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by any card network or any bank or issuing partner.
• KAST’s determinations regarding the Campaign, including eligibility and reward calculation, are final and binding, subject to applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights you have under applicable consumer protection law that cannot be waived by agreement. If you have a complaint, contact KAST support through the app or website.
• If contradictions exist between this English text and any translations, the original English version shall prevail and serves as the definitive reference for accuracy.
